Every page of my app has the same title on Google

In React and Lovable apps, every route usually inherits the same <title> from index.html. Here's why that hurts your SEO and how to set a title and description per page.

Why it happens

In an SPA, the <title> and meta description come from index.html, which is the same file for every route. Unless the app swaps those tags on each page, /pricing, /about and /blog all reach Google with the same title.

To a search engine, pages with identical titles look like duplicates. It tends to pick one and ignore the rest, and the title shown in results ends up being something generic like the project name.

How to check your app

  1. Open two different pages of your app and compare the text in the browser tab.
  2. Search Google for site:yourdomain.com and see whether the results repeat the same title.
  3. Launch Check compares titles and descriptions across up to five pages and flags the repeats.

How to fix it

Generate a route-specific <title> and meta description (e.g. react-helmet-async or the framework's metadata API) reflecting each page's content.
